When you have a goal to make your site profitable on a consistent basis, using Google AdSense is one of the most effective methods to accomplish that goal. Of course, you must be able to get through the approval process in order for that to happen. If you follow these great tips though that shouldn't be a problem.
You can't afford not to make sure your site is filled with a large amount of quality content that is relevant to your site. With Google being all about contextual ads it's very important that you provide plenty of content for them to match their advertising with. Google isn't going to be interested in the average site that offers little on-page content but plenty of links and videos. With this in mind make sure you post a lot of content before you send an application for AdSense in Google's direction. Twenty to thirty pages is a good minimum number or starting point to reach before sending in your application.
Take a few extra minutes to be sure you filled out your application properly. Give Google the entire story from the very beginning and make sure it's all true. Attempting to mislead will only get you into deep trouble when the truth is discovered. If you aren't going to be able to give Google the whole story now, it isn't the right time for you to apply.
If you really want to give your odds of approval a little bit of a boost, apply using your Gmail address. For whatever reason, this matters to Google so it needs to matter to you.
Register a Top Level Domain: Your site has a higher chance of being taken more seriously if you think about registering a custom top level domain for it. Take the time to work out a good domain name that will appeal to your target audience. If you see free domains offered, don't be fooled, as these will only give you a long sub-domain that search engines don't like. You'll find you can register a .com or .net domain name for less than $10 per year easily.
It's more than possible to build a solid business using AdSense income; in fact, there are people earning six figures a year doing just that. So given the serious potential, if you're ready to put in the hard work, go ahead and apply for your account. Once you get approved your primary focus will be to take consistent action to make it profitable.
